Addie Larae Hartter, 11 months old, went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Addie was born April 21, 2010 in Sabetha to John and Teresa (Kaeb) Hartter. She enjoyed being around people and was a ray of sunshine to many. She was starting to take steps and learned to wave bye bye the week of her illness. The joy she brought to her family leaves a loving memory.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Loretta Schneider, and her great-grandfather, Edwin Bahler.
Addie is survived by her parents, John and Teresa Hartter of Sabetha; maternal grandparents, Eric and Lou Ann Kaeb of Cissna Park, Illinois; paternal grandparents, Tim and Charleen Hartter of Sabetha; great-grandparents, Elmer and Mary Lou Kaeb of Cissna Park, Illinois, Ken and Bernice Schneider of Remington, Indiana, Virgil and Marie Hartter of Sabetha, and Lois Bahler of Remington, Indiana; uncles, Chad Kaeb (Janice) of Remington, Indiana, Trent Kaeb (fiancée, Brandy) and Anthony Kaeb, both of Cissna Park, Illinois, Seth Hartter (Brenda) of Bloomfield, Iowa, Micah Hartter and Daniel Hartter both of Sabetha; aunts, Katrina Nowaczyk (AJ) of Charleston, Illinois, Stephany Kaeb of Cissna Park, Illinois, Heidi Anliker (Corbin) of Forrest, Illinois, Maria Currier (David) of Congerville, Illinois, Rose Hartter and Salome Hartter both of Sabetha; and five cousins.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Church in Sabetha. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. Interment will take place in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be left to the Sabetha Apostolic Christian Church Sunday School, or to the Prairie Meadows Private School, sent in care of the funeral home.
