Carol Mayo

Carol Sue Robinson Mayo, 48 of DuBois, Nebraska (formerly of Sabetha, Kansas) went home to be with her Lord, November 26, 2007 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka Kansas.

Carol was born June 12, 1959 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of James Barry and Martha Joan (Koehler) Robinson.

Formerly of Southampton, Pennsylvania Carol was a graduate of Wm. Tennent High School. She then attended Delaware Valley College of Agriculture for one year. She was employed by R.M. Shoemaker Construction Company until moving to Sabetha in 1987. She formerly worked for Koch Trucking, and was currently employed by Lortscher Agri Services Inc.

Carol is survived by her mother, Martha Robinson; sisters, Martha Keely, Ruth Oom and husband Mike; brother, Charlie Robinson and wife Judi and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, James; brother, Jimmy and nephews Scott C. Keely and Abram C. Robinson.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m., and the funeral service will be Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., both at Northridge Church, Sabetha. Burial will follow at Sabetha Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northridge Church youth fund for camp scholarships, or Faith Family Children's Home, Manila Philippines. Checks for the children's home may be made out to Northridge and earmarked for the orphanage.
