Charles Mawhinney

Charles Allen Mawhinney Sr., 56, of Sabetha passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at his home.
He was born the only son of Edwin and Dorothy (Hodges) Mawhinney on September 18, 1951 in Portland, OR.
Charles was inducted into the US Army and served his country during Vietnam.
He worked for MAC as a fabricator and was an avid fisherman.
His loving wife, Opal; parents, Edwin and Dorothy; sons, Charles Jr. and Edwin and wife, Katrina of Denver, Co; daughter, Dorothy and husband, Patrick of Golden, CO and four grandchildren survive him.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Saturday at the chapel. Burial will follow at Sabetha Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family in care of the funeral home.
