Eileen Rottinghaus

Eileen Adelaide Rottinghaus, 78 passed away Tuesday April 26, 2005 at the St. Francis Hospital, Topeka.
Eileen was born January 19, 1927 at St. Benedict, KS. The daughter of Tim and Lena Runnebaum Heiman.
Eileen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She belonged to the St. Michael's Guild and had been an officer. She belonged to the RN Club. Eileen enjoyed quilting, crocheting, growing flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her sister Martha Holthaus and her parents.
Eileen married Leonard Rottinghaus on May 5, 1949 at St Mary's Church in St. Benedict, KS. He survives of the home at Axtell. Other survivors include a daughter Linda Haverkamp and her husband Carol, Leawood, KS; two sons, Dan Rottinghaus and wife Patti and Tom Rottinghaus and wife Donna, all of Axtell. Grandchildren, Jada Haverkamp, Toni Floyd, Jami Rottinghaus, Jesse Rottinghaus, Derek Haverkamp and Dustin Rottinghaus. A brother Roy Heiman, Seneca also survives.
A rosary was held Wednesday evening 7:30 at St. Michael's Church, Axtell. Mass of Christian burial was Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 10:30 am, at St. Michael's. Fr. Albert Hauser O.S.B. will celebrated the mass. Casket bearers were Jada Haverkamp, Derek Haverkamp, Jami Rottinghaus, Dustan Ridder, Toni Floyd, Clint Floyd Jesse Rottinghaus and Dustin Rottinghaus. The Lector was Elmer Rottinghaus. Burial was in the St. Michael's Cemetery, Axtell. Landreth - Popkess Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements she will lie in state after noon on Tuesday, April 27, 2005.
