G wendolyn I. (Leuthold) Stoller, 91, of Sabetha, KS passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Home.
Gwendolyn was born February 2, 1927 in Oneida, Kansas to Joseph and Gladys (Huff) Leuthold. She was one of six children. Gwendolyn grew up in the Oneida area and completed Oneida High School. Soon after High School, she accepted a position with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for the next eight years.
In 1948, Gwendolyn met and married George Stoller. In 1963, she left the telephone company and went to work for Stoller Interiors. The Stollers retired from the business in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gladys (Huff) Leuthold; her husband, George Stoller; one sister, Nelda Leuthold; and four brothers, John, Harold, Dale and Kenneth Leuthold.
She is survived by two children, Brentton Stoller and wife Rori Stoller of Lenexa, Kansas, and Bethie Stoller and partner Holly Sakariason of Yuma, Arizona; granddaughter, Megan Stoller Wilson and Matt Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and two grandsons, Samuel George Stoller-Sakariason and Max Ethan Stoller-Sakariason of Yuma, Arizona.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha, Kansas. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be made in the Sabetha Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Sabetha, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia, Sabetha, KS 66534.
