J ean (Jeannie) Louise Dahl, 64, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.
She was born November 19, 1954, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Kathryn (Luby) Brown.
Jeannie was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and lived in several places including Kansas, Indiana, Arizona, Mississippi, Nebraska, Tennessee, Missouri, and Montana. She was an avid sports fan. She was a huge hockey fan and loved her Chicago Blackhawks. She was also a big racing fan and has attended numerous NASCAR, NHRA, and dirt-track events across the country including 13 consecutive years at Talladega. She loved her ceramics as well as other crafts and was always working on something. Jeannie has visited all 48 continental states. She loved spending time with family especially her grandkids, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Brown; step-mother, Marilyn Brown; step-father, Norman Reed; brother, Robert W. Brown; and brother, Robin J. Brown.
Jeannie is survived by her mother, Kathryn Reed of Seneca; husband, Kevin Dahl; son, Norman (Natascha) Peaser of Phoenix, AZ; son, Alvin (Jackie) Peaser of Tooele, UT; daughter, Kathryn (Ronald) Stroud of Matthews, MO; son, Tristan Dahl; daughter, Trinity (Wes) White of Enid, OK; son, Johnathon (Dana) Dahl of Ft. Smith, AR; sister, Judy Lock of Seneca; brother, Jon (Teresa) McGillivray of Enterprise, AL.; sisters, Nita (Roy) Mattocks of Baileyville, Nancy Brown of Phoenix, AZ, and Norma Harbin of Polson, MT; brother, David (Becky) Brown of Godley, TX; brother, Richard (Amy) Brown of Springtown, TX; mother and father in-law, Johnny and Willa Dahl; 9 grand kids; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jean Dahl Memorial Fund at Elks Bank in Seneca.
