Pamela Jo Sperline-Fischer, 47, of Hamlin passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at Stormont-Vail Regional Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
Pam was born on April 7, 1962 the daughter of Ronnie Sperline and Joyce (Rakestraw) Sperline in Sabetha, Kansas. She attended Sabetha High School and graduated in 1980. Pam worked at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha and then for Topeka High as a teaching assistant for a year. She was called home for a death in the family and decided to stay home.
She worked at the Sabetha Manor, Sabetha Hospital and cleaned homes many years for many wonderful people. She loved life and was loved by many people.
Pam was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Backer in 1986; paternal grandfather, LaVon Sperline in March of 2009; and maternal grandparents, Wilbur Rakestraw and Ruth Rakestraw in April of 1981.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Fischer of the home; three daughters, Tessa Sperline of Sabetha, Rachel Backer of Morrill, and Randi Fischer of the home; her parents, Ronnie Sperline and Joyce Sperline of Morrill, a brother, Tracey Sperline of Morrill; paternal grandmother, Morna Sperline of Sabetha; and two grandchildren, Trenton Wisdom and Trevor Wisdom.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be made in the Morrill Cemetery. Memorial contributions are going to a fund that is yet to be designated sent in care of the funeral home.
