Stanley Margrave

Stanley H. Margrave, 80, of Sabetha, KS died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas.
Stanley was born, April 29, 1928 at Sabetha, KS one of twin boys to Howard and Marie Wasmund Margrave. He graduated from Sabetha High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Denver University in Denver CO.
He loved the outdoors and playing sports. While in school he was an avid track enthusiast. Later in life he loved to ski, play golf, hunt and travel.
He was a member of the North Ridge Church in Sabetha and the Sabetha Lions Club.
Stanley was a Bank Examiner for the state of Kansas and he retired in 1992.
In 2006 Stanley entered the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha after living in Kansas City, KS most of his adult life.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother Stanton who died in an accident on June 29, 1956.
He is survived by his Aunt, Jenny Margrave of Falls City, NE. and several cousins.
Graveside Inurnment services will be Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha, KS. Pastor Charlie Robinson will conduct the services.
Memorials are being left to the Northridge Church or to the Gideon Bibles Society and may be sent in care of the Popkess Mortuary, Sabetha, Kansas.
